How long it takes for the order to be prepared?
Do you accept returns?
Before making a purchase, please take the time to carefully review all photos and descriptions, as by buying an item, you are acknowledging its characteristics. Keep in mind that all pieces are handmade, and minor imperfections may occur.
Kindly review the return policy thoroughly before completing your purchase to be aware of our returns policy.
Which material do you use?
Each piece is carefully handcrafted from natural white clay and undergoes two or three firings in a ceramic kiln, with temperatures ranging from 900 to 1100 degrees Celsius. During the first firing (bisque), the ceramic pigments are set, and in the second firing, a layer of transparent glaze is applied to achieve a glossy, waterproof finish.
The designs are first sketched on the dry clay using a regular pencil or a stencil, then hand-painted with brushes using various pigments or oxides (like cobalt oxide for blue). If a piece features gold details, those are decorated with ceramic luster made from real gold particles, which is applied in a third firing at 750 degrees Celsius.
What about the iconography of the pieces?
As an artist and medievalist, I always conduct detailed research before beginning each piece. This process helps me to fully understand and connect with the subject matter, ensuring that every work is created with deep respect for the historical traditions it references.
Each piece comes with a small, uniquely designed leaflet in both English and Spanish. The leaflet provides a brief overview of the research and the symbolism behind the artwork, offering a glimpse into the story and meaning behind each creation.
Do you take commisions?
I do sometimes! Get in touch via email to further discuss.
When will you restock?
I typically update the shop every 2 to 3 months. To stay informed about when new pieces are available, the best way is to join my email list or follow me on Instagram, where I share all the latest updates.
What about taxes?
For international shipments (outside the EU) packages are shipped with DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) labels.
Customs duties and taxes vary from country to country. If there are any, these will be paid by the customer when the package arrives at customs in their country.
For shipments inside EU taxes are included.
